Sarah Strachan

Hi, my name is Sarah Strachan and I teach beginner and intermediate piano and guitar.

A little bit about me: I am a deferred uni student with classical training on piano, but I have been expanding into jazz, blues and rock more recently. I am mostly self-taught on guitar but have had lessons during the last year to tweek up my technique, and also completed a short course in Jazz Improvisation at Box Hill on the guitar. I enjoy songwriting and jamming with other musicians, and intend to make music my career in the long-run.

I teach from my home in Upwey in the afternoons and evenings and also teach some daytime students at the Patch Primary school.
