Bachelor of Applied Music (Performance), Diploma of Education (Middle Years)
Simon has been playing bass guitar for 17 years and has also played guitar and piano for many years. In this time he has completed a Bachelor of Applied Music at Box Hill Institute and a Diploma of Education at La Trobe University.
His enthusiasm for music education has driven him towards his career as a Secondary School VCE and VET classroom music teacher in Melbourne. He has had many years experience working with students as they prepare for their VCE and AMEB examinations.
Simon has also worked professionally as a touring and recording musician for more than 7 years with a few international tours and recording sessions under his belt.
At 29 years of age, Simon continues to be an actively creative working musician and loves sharing his musical journey with his students. His patience and positive nature helps him develop strong bonds with his students as he pushes them to achieve their personal goals.
