Bachelor of Performing Arts, Monash University
Stephen has been trained in all facets of the performing arts since the age of 4, having now had over 20 years of performance experience. He has trained and continues to work with leading singing and acting coaches across his many years of professional development.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Monash University in 2010. During his time at Monash, he appeared in A Midsummer Nights Dream (Nick Bottom) and in a self-devised cabaret performed at The Butterfly Club.
Further theatrical credits include Spring Awakening (Otto), Floyd Collins (Reporter/ Ensemble) and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Chip Tolentino), Seussical – The Musical, Fiddler on the Roof, Grease, Chess, Guys and Dolls, Les Miserables and Jesus Christ Superstar.
Stephen also trained and performed extensively with the Young Australian Broadway Chorus (CPCA) for the majority of his childhood and teenage years. As well as extensive experience in performance, Stephen is also an aspiring theatre director, having directed non-professional productions of Hello, Dolly! (2010) and Grease (2011).
Most recently, in 2012 Stephen completed his full time training in musical theatre at “SHOWFIT”, learning under many leading industry professionals.
