Sweet Song Music Tuition (0413 416 210)
Welcome to my studio! Below is some information regarding what I can provide as your music teacher. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by phone, or email.
Sweet Song is a local home studio providing music lessons to absolutely anyone who is interested. I began this business as I saw a need for music tutors who are not only professional musicians, but are qualified teachers. Located near the Cambridge Gardens shops in Penrith, my home studio offers a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. All ages are welcome! It’s never too early or late to learn and benefit from the teachings of music.
What do I teach?
• Bass guitar: all ability levels
• Guitar: all ability levels
• Keyboard: all ability levels
• Singing: all ability levels
• Music theory: beginner and intermediate ability levels
• NSW High School curriculum and HSC: all ability levels
What is a typical lesson like at Sweet Song?
You can expect lessons that are catered for each individual. No two people will learn an instrument in the same way, so I put time and careful consideration into planning my tuition. As a basic outline, a typical lesson with me will consist of the following:
• Reading music, tablature and chord charts
• Learning songs of your choice
• Scales and theory
• Rhythm and musicianship
• Exercises for improvement
What qualifications do I have?
I am a practising musician working in a number of bands with regular gigs and frequent rehearsals. I am also a high school music teacher working at a local high school. I display a working with children check certificate at my studio at all times. My formal qualifications are below:
• Bachelor of Popular Music and Performance
• Masters of Teaching (secondary)
