THE RESONANT VOICE

Styles: All

Skill Level: Intermediate, Advanced

The voice is one of our most popular instruments. For a start you don’t have to buy or hire an instrument, and it comes in a very handy, take anywhere carry case. No matter what state your singing voice is in, we have a course that will allow you to get it out, set it free and see how high it will fly.

Perfecting the human voice is like every skill, your technique can always be improved and the rewards are enormous. In all our singing courses, students are given a combination of technical vocal tuition followed by a chance to put it into action immediately in a supportive and diverse ensemble group.

Courses
Our groups are as diverse as the human voice and cover everyone from those who can keep a tune but have no singing experience, to those who’ve been at it for years and want to continue to improve their technique and harmonize with a group of equally capable singers.

The Resonant Voice (Elementary)
The first stage of your vocal development. If you can hold a tune but have very little singing experience, or you’re a graduate of The Tone Deaf Clinic, you’ll fit in perfectly in elementary level of The Resonant Voice. Here, in a small group you’ll be guided through vocal exercises to improve your production technique. Exercises will focus on tongue and jaw position, breathing, posture, relaxation and basic production of vowels. You’ll learn how to use your aural imagination to produce a better sound. You’ll learn too, how to sing a melodic line, with accurate pitch and rhythm and how to perform your part in a unison song.

The Resonant Voice (Intermediate) and (Advanced)
More advanced courses in The Resonant Voice will continue to develop your vocal technique and allow you to participate in singing solos and more complex songs with complicated harmonies. We have a significant number of groups and will fit you in at a convenient time and to your level of experience and ability.
