Bachelor of Music (Classical Performance), The University of Adelaide
Wendy Dahyung Lee, aged 24 years, is a student of Monika Laczofy and is currently in her 3rd year of the Bachelor of Music (Classical Performance) at the Elder Conservatorium.
Born in South Korea, she began piano lessons aged five. In 2009, she came to live in Adelaide and completed the Special Music Program at Marryatville High School with her teacher Diana Harris OAM. She participated in the Young Accompanists’ Showcase with the former Head of Vocal Studies at the Conservatorium, bass, Keith Hampton in 2010, and won prizes from the Adelaide Eisteddfod Society.
Wendy has maintained a significant presence in music making as a chorister and the accompanist for Coram Deo choir at the Korean Presbyterian Church of Adelaide, and as a pianist of the accordion and piano duo with a professional accordion player, Daniel Garcia.
