Having graduated from the Conservatorium of Music in 2012, Adele began teaching her first student when she was in year 12. She now has 13+ years combined teaching experience- teaching private instrumental lessons, teaching within a classroom setting (primary and secondary), assisting with band workshops and also conducting school bands and choirs. Adele currently plays with the Inner West Community Band and conducts/leads the Youth Ensemble there.

Happy to teach all ages. Lessons operate from Haberfield at Haberfield Woodwind Studio. Or if there are multiple students in the one location, another location may be agreed upon consultation. Early musicianship grades also an option.

Focussed on developing the correct technique (especially in sound production) so students can become versatile, successful players. Adele will help you find and choose a goal on your instrument you would like to work towards in order to keep you engaged in your playing.

Adele is classically trained, and her passion for developing the correct technique from the start ensures students are set off on the right path from the get go. This benefits students as having correct technique opens them up to a larger range of repertoire. It also helps prevent minor injuries that could result from playing a long time with incorrect technique.

I am always open to students playing the music they would like to play and find enjoyable. So I am happy for them to bring along pieces they are working on in a band they belong to, or pieces they have found and would like to learn.

Adele is also able to assist you with working towards AMEB grades if that is a path you would like to choose.

Lesson rate for 2021 are $80 an hr (for more advanced students only) or $40 per half hour lesson (all other students).
