Adrian Tuero

I have completed a Bachelor of Music (Music Education, Performance Major) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and have completed 3 music diplomas. I have studied clarinet with some of the top clarinetists in Australia as well as learning from the principal clarinetists of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra.

I have extensive experience performing and conducting in small and large ensembles. I've been tutoring since 2006 and I teach from beginner level through to university music students. I am able to put students through any AMEB performance or theory exam, as well as preparing students for HSC performance exams. In 2017 I was awarded an AMEB teachers certificate for getting my students into the 'top 5 results in the category of most outstanding private teacher, Woodwind'. I have had students who have been successful in getting into the Sydney Conservatorium High School and students who have received music scholarships for high schools. I aim to make lessons enjoyable and fun for everyone.

I regularly do solo, duet and small ensemble arrangements of film music, pop and rock songs. I also organise 4 concerts per year for my students to perform.

I also have instruments available for hire so if you are starting out please enquire regarding different options. If there are any issues with instruments I am also an instrument repair technician.

Lessons are organised on a weekly basis usually running to the school term. Additional lessons may also be organised. I am also a creative kids provider so the $50 vouchers can come off lesson fees per calendar year. Online lessons are available for rural and remote students and for anyone else that needs them.
