Hi, I’m Adriel!
I am a young Australian composer currently studying my Final year of a Bachelor of Music (Composition) Honours at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under Carl Vine AO. I have played the Piano for about 15 years and completed my Certificate of Performance (AMEB) Examination on the piano in late 2020 with honours. My music has been played by the Sydney Conservatorium of Music Symphony Orchestra, members of the Australian Youth Orchestras, Sydney Youth Orchestras Philharmonic, Steel City Strings, Ensemble Offspring, the Goldner String Quartet, the Australian String Quartet, Caesura Ensemble, SAGA Collective, the choir and organists of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral Parramatta, and fellow students at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I have also received many compositional awards/prizes including the Sydney Conservatorium of Music’s 2022 Horace Keats Memorial Prize for Composition, and their 2023 Frank Albert Music Prize.
I enjoys helping others discover the many joys of music and composition.
I have an up to date WWCC and teach composition lessons online (via Zoom) and in person. I have experience with both the compositional and Aural aspects of both the HSC Music 2 and Music Extension courses having been through them myself.
I am also able to teach piano to beginner/intermediate level students.
