My name is Alan. I am a Y10 student from a selective high school. I have been playing the piano since I was in Y2. I passed Certificate of Performance (C MUS) AMEB comprehensive exam for Piano with honours (A) in October 2020. I passed Grade 8 AMEB comprehensive exam for Piano with honours (A) in October 2019. I also passed Grade 4 AMEB music theory exam with Credit in 2018. I’ve participated in many piano competitions and I’ve obtained excellent results. For example, I received the First Place in U14 Piano Solo in the 2019 City of Ryde Eisteddfod. I also received the Silver Award in The Australian International Music Competition in 2019. In 2020, I was one of the finalists with merit at the Hitmaker International Solo and Ensemble Competition. Additionally, I’ve been teaching students piano as a paid job since 2019 and am good at communicating with primary and high school students. I love music and enjoy helping people/children with developing their piano/music skills. I also enjoy reading, basketball and maths. I am a qualified life saver as well. Thanks.
