Alan graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music in Conducting. He is an all rounder piano and music teacher and a conductor for over 20 years.
He has offered some of the most professional and caring piano pedagogy in upper north shore.
His students have achieved remarkable results in piano and musical development, in both AMEB examination and competitions. Alan emphasises in musicianship development as well as sound technical foundation. His students over the years have chosen to pursue music professionally or personal leisure.
In 2025 Alan was awarded the Top 3 AMEB private teachers in NSW for excellence in music theory pedagogy.
