Pandeiro and Brazilian Percussion

As well as drum kit, I teach a full range of Brazilian percussion, including the quintessential Brazilian percussion instrument, the pandeiro. Australia's Brazilian music scene is flourishing, and the music is great fun to play at all levels.

Currently I am performing with many of Australia's top Brazilian music ensembles, including Sexteto Zona Sul, the Doug de Vries Trio, Panorama do Brasil and Trio Agogo. I have studied in Brazil with a number of top drummers and percussionists, including Marcio Bahia, Celso de Almeida, Roberta Valente and Edu Ribeiro.
