Aleisa studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music for over 10 years, was awarded several scholarships, and performed regularly as a soloist, in orchestras and chamber music groups. At age 13, Aleisa gained her first diploma; A.MUS.A, and went on to achieve several others.
Upon completion of her education Aleisa taught violin and conducted string groups in several schools around Sydney, including St. Ives North Primary School.
Aleisa now focuses on teaching students individually in her studio where she has a strong focus on both technique and musicality/expression. She has over 20 years’ experience and has a proven track record of preparing students for AMEB & Trinity exams. Aleisa’s students are given regular opportunities to perform at local music concerts. Aleisa performs regularly as a soloist, and in orchestras around Sydney. She recently performed with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and the Metropolitan Orchestra. Aleisa has also be employed as a professional violinist by Berowra Musical Society and the North Shore Theatre Company.
