Alexandra Bekes

I have been learning cello for twenty years and have been teaching cello for over five years. I received the D&MV McDonald Scholarship from the University of Tasmania in 2018, which allowed me to study in London for three months with the countries best cello teachers. This experience not only developed my skills as a performing cellist but also as a teacher due to being exposed to a variety of different teaching methods. I have extensive performance experience including working with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and performing with the Australian Youth Orchestra. I am incredibly passionate about cello and love imparting this passion to my students.
