Alfie has been a member of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra since 2024, and regularly performs with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and the Australian World Orchestra. Alfie has studied trumpet in Sydney and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and internationally at the Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg, Germany. He has taught extensively at all levels at his private studio, at prestigious schools Newington College, St Aloysius College, and Fort Street High School, and has run masterclasses including most recently for the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
