Alice Girle

Last year, I completed my Masters in Performance with distinction at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. I also have a Bachelor of Music from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

I have taught for several years at a primary school, performing arts academy, community college and privately. My teaching experience includes preparing students for singing competitions, AMEB exams and auditions. I am also confident assisting students with musicianship and aural perception skills. Students from my studio have been accepted into the Newtown School of Performing Arts, the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Sydney Children’s Choir and the Opera Australia Children’s Chorus. Beyond the success of my students, I strive to achieve a fun working relationship; a balance between enjoyment and creating a  foundation for further development of effective vocal technique. I am most comfortable teaching classical and music theatre, but also work with students in the styles of jazz or pop music. I have an up-to-date working with children check and recently refreshed my first aid training to renew my certification.

I have worked as a performer in a professional capacity with Opera Australia, Cantillation and The Seven Sopranos to name a few.
