Alisa is a classically trained flautist and experienced music educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. She graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in Brisbane, majoring in classical flute, and also holds a Bachelor of Education.
Alisa has performed with orchestras and a wide variety of ensembles and has worked extensively as both a specialist music teacher and classroom teacher, supporting students across diverse learning styles and abilities. In recent years, her work has expanded into the disability sector, where she delivers inclusive and engaging music programs incorporating drumming, singing, and creative expression within therapeutic music contexts.
She also enjoys working in the sound healing space, integrating elements of mindfulness, rhythm, and sound to support regulation, wellbeing, and connection. Alisa’s teaching approach is supportive, intuitive, and student-centred, creating a safe and encouraging environment where students can develop both musical skills and confidence.
