Teaching has been second nature from when I started at the age of 11. My main goal when I teach is to bring the joy and love of music into the heart of every student.
I have studied extensively with both previous Heads of the String section in the Conservatorium of Music since the age of 7. My journey on violin began at the age of 3 when I first picked up the violin and began learning the Suzuki Method right away. Less than a year later at the age of 4 I began performing.
Teaching the Suzuki Violin Method not only called to me because there is such a strong emphasis on the early stages of learning but because I had spent the first few years of my learning with Suzuki. Producing a good tone, learning to play in tune by ear, and establishing a sound technique are such important factors with music.
