Amber is originally from Bendigo, Victoria. She has graduated with the University of Melbourne, studying a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Classical Performance, Piano, with the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, and has studied under acclaimed international pianists Gintaute Gataveckaite and Christopher Wayne Smith. She has prepared masterclasses for Olga Kharintonova, Igor Machlak and Belinda Reid. She studied under PhD candidate and accomplished Australian and international pianist Coady Green.

Amber is an experienced instrumental and music teacher, teaching for over five years. She has been employed by Creek Street Christian College as a piano, vocal and music theory teacher, as well as teaching from her home studios in Bendigo and Glen Waverley. She also has accompanied singers in rehearsals: solo, and for the Australian Youth Choir at age 12, played in theatre, as well as performing as an ensemble and solo artist in various locations such as the Melbourne Recital Centre, Melbourne Town Hall, Woodend Winter Arts Festival, Hanson Dyer Hall and Federation Square. She greatly enjoys collaborating with other musicians and artists.
