Unlike other instruments percussion equipment often comes with the performance venue, so you never really know what condition it’s going to be in.
As a performer I found this incredibly frustrating.
After studying classical music at the University of Adelaide, records management through Curtin University, working in schools as an instrumental teacher, and undertaking a variety of asset management roles, I realised I had developed the perfect skill set to help fix this problem.
The solution was to create Fulcrum Percussion Services in 2022.
I don’t profess to know everything; I’m still learning. But I strive to share what I have learnt with whomever needs it and am always searching for new innovations or tricks-of-the-trade.
