Double Bass Lessons!

My name is Amelia and I love the double bass and you will too! My love first began when I was a little girl and ever since my double bass and I have performed around Australia and abroad. With over 10 years of experience, I would be thrilled to share my knowledge and experience with anyone who wants to play the double bass.

Graduating in 2021 from the Queensland Conservatorium, I have performed as a soloist, and in chamber ensemble and orchestras, such as Southern Cross Soloists, Australian Chamber Orchestra and Queensland Symphony Orchestra. In 2022, I had the privilege of studying at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, Italy and working with Principal Bass of Teatro la Scala, Giuseppe Ettorre.

I tailor each lesson to the individual student, whether they're preparing for exams, auditions, or just want to play for fun. My aim is to bring out the student's full potential in a supportive and enjoyable environment, focusing on technique, musicality, and enjoyment. I'm dedicated to showcasing the versatility of the double bass and passing on my love for the instrument to future generations.
