I am a flute and piccolo teacher based in South Melbourne, with over 8 years of experience. I have mentored flute students through AMEB grades Preliminary to CMus from ages 6-16, and also enjoy guiding adult learners through playing for leisure. My interests lie particularly in teaching beginners and introducing them to the flute with a focus on fundamentals of playing the instrument and reading music.
I am a recent BMus (Performance) graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and Royal Danish Academy of Music and will commence my first year at the Australian National Academy of Music in Melbourne. In 2025, I was Principal Flute with the Australian Youth Orchestra, performing in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Netherlands, Germany and Austria. I have collaborated with professional orchestras such as the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and Sydney Philharmonia Choirs Orchestra.
