With over 10+ years of experience in Violin Performance, playing as a soloist and in a variety of ensemble/orchestra settings, Amity offers individual violin teaching as a passionate music teacher for all ages and skill levels.
Amity is currently studying Bachelor of Music Education with the principle of Violin performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music while sharing her love for teaching through violin.
Amity has studied under the tutelage of Prof. Peter Shixiang Zhang's (world-renowned violin educator) discipline Yong Yang, Dr. Evgeny Sorkin, Prof. Goetz Richter and Prof. Ole Bohn. She has experience in teaching music and conducting ensembles at Primary Schools.
In the past, Amity achieved an Encore Nomination for top performance students of Music HSC, and an E4 (High Achievement Band) in her Music Extension Program.
Specialising in Music education, Amity brings her pedagogical knowledge to help students develop their own passion and enjoyment in violin.
Amity also has experience in working with students with special needs, particularly in Autism and ADHD.
Amity teaches at Morgan Music Academy and privately at her own studio in Carlingford.
