Amy Vee

Singer/songwriter/musician Amy Vee is a fierce presence in the Australian music scene, performing and recording tirelessly in her home country and overseas for the last 9 years.

Vee has won several national and international industry awards and songwriting awards (including a MUSICOZ Artist of the Year) and is highly regarded among her peers, sharing her vocals and the stage with various emerging and established Australian and international artists.

In 2011, Amy toured nationally with ARIA award winning singer songwriter Tim Freedman of The Whitlams’ fame, as keyboardist and guitarist in his band Tim Freedman and The Idle, promoting his new album Australian Idle, released on Sony.

Amy has also toured extensively in 2011 with Aussie rock legend Jon English as part of his musically theatrical production “The Rock Show”, which won a Mo Award for Best Rock Act in 2012 and a 2012 ARIA nomination for Best Cast Album.

Since the launch of her award-winning EP Sleeping Dogs Lie in late 2009, Vee has performed at scores of live music venues and festivals in most Aus capital cities and many places in between. In 2010, Amy single-handedly embarked on a month-long tour of England and Scotland.

The song “Heart-Shaped Space” is currently being used on a national TV and radio campaign for the Partners in Depression program.
