Guitar Lessons (music production/recording/DJ lessons also available)

Hi,

My name is Andrew. I'm a very experienced guitarist/tutor offering lessons in the northern suburbs for people of all abilities, ages and aspirations. No previous experience necessary! I hold a BA (Hons) degree in music performance and have many years experience teaching and performing in various ensembles ranging from Funk/Rnb to Jazz and Rock. I have worked with some of Melbourne's best artists and touring shows including the Melbourne International Jazz Festival and 100% Kylie.

I also have a current Victorian Working with Children Card.

-Preparing students for AMEB, Rockschool exams

For beginners I can introduce the basics of the instrument and get you started right away with with popular songs, chords and melodies based around songs and styles of music that you are into.

If you have been playing for a while and want to brush up on your technique or theory, learn some new licks or get to grips with that tricky part I can absolutely help with that too by breaking it down into manageable pieces!

Lesson rates are in line with VMTA rates, $89 per hour, $44.50 per half hour. This includes travel to your location if it is within 10 mins approx. drive. (Preston, Coburg, Thornbury etc) surrounds. Ideal for busy parents!!

I can teach from home also for adults/teens, please get in touch about rates for this. I have an excellent recording setup/acoustically treated home studio with professional equipment. As I don't have to travel for this happy to negotiate a lower hourly rate.
