Andrew has been teaching in schools and at his home studio for over 10 years since completing his Bachelor of Music Performance. Andrew has been fortunate to tour the world playing with some of Australia's top artists. His students range from varying ages from all walks of life with different skills and interests.

His teaching focuses on short coaching courses. Andrew is all about obtaining measurable results for his student. His focus is helping beginner to intermediate drummers take the next step up in their drumming.

Time, Flow, Groove, Technique, Improvisation, Musicianship are at the core of his teachings.

Andrew's drum vocabulary has a strong association with groove and servicing the song with a musicians mindset as well as having a drive for improvisation, writing and producing.

He currently heads up Pocket Studios where he runs a teaching, recording and production studio.

He teaches out if his home studio in Brunswick and also takes online classes through Zoom. As well as a Bachelor and Advanced Diploma in Music he also has a Working With Children's Check (WWC).
