Andy started his violin journey at the age of 11 in 2014 and was gifted with perfect pitch. He was successfully awarded A.Mus.A in 2019, five years after playing the violin. In 2020, he completed AMEB grade 5 theory.

He was accepted into the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and is currently a third-year student studying under Dr. Curt Thompson.

Andy currently is a violinist in the Melbourne University Symphony Orchestra. He was also part of the Victorian State School Spectacular Orchestra in 2019 and 2020. He has played in the Melbourne Recital Centre, Hamer Hall, and John Cain Arena. Furthermore, Andy has performed internationally in Singapore and Malaysia, playing in the YST Conservatory Concert Hall and Dewan Filharmonik Petronas.

He has received mentorship and masterclasses from world-renowned musicians such as Jun Iwasaki, Brant Taylor and Joan DerHovsepian. He was also provided the opportunity to receive coaching from Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) members.
