18 years of teaching experience.

I encourage a well-rounded learning experience for all students. I often try to integrate sight-reading, theory, aural as well as technique in the class. I don't believe fun learning has to compromise learning standard. Having said that, I believe students and teachers deserve to have fun in class.

Many of my students are able to read and hear, as well as analyse music. Some became confident music readers after having sight-reading training with me. A competent sight reader could use his/her skill to learn song faster independently and feel motivated to pursue a higher level of their music education.
