Violin Lessons

Violin or piano lessons available.

I teach students of all ages and abilities including adults. I offer private lessons after school until 8:00p.m. Parents are encouraged to attend their child’s private lessons so that students can be supervised and encouraged when practising at home. Even non-musical parents can double or triple the progress of a young child.

Students can also choose to study for exams. Most students choose to study the A.M.E.B. syllabus although I can also prepare students for Trinity and St.Cecilia exams. I also prepare students for scholarship exams.

Violins are amongst the cheapest of the orchestral instrument and easy for a beginner to purchase and maintain. A good quality student instrument that is well set-up should cost $200 - $300. I can assist you with obtaining an instrument that is right for you. I also have small number of new and used violins available for hire or purchase.
