Fanghui Chen is a professional Erhu (two-stringed Chinese fiddle) performer, intercultural arts promoter, educator, and researcher.
As a performing artist, she has been selected by China’s Ministry of Culture to represent traditional Chinese music and culture in international programs, promoting intercultural musical exchange. She has toured extensively across China, Eastern Europe, Hungary, Macedonia, and Australia.
Her performances have been featured on major media platforms including China Central Television (CCTV), ABC Radio, SBS, and Channel 9. She has performed at numerous international festivals and national concert halls, such as the Hungarian National Music and Dance Festival – Summerfest, Ohrid Summer Festival, BrisAsia Festival, Zillmere Festival, Beijing Concert Hall, and the Sydney Opera House.
Fanghui holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Music Performance (Erhu) from the China Conservatory of Music and a Master of Music from the University of Queensland. She is currently pursuing her PhD at Queensland University of Technology
