Anna Maydwell

I studied recorder at UWA, specialising in historically informed performance practice under the tutelage of Dr Georg Corall (Baroque woodwinds).
I aim to provide a relaxed and enjoyable learning environment where students can expect to have fun while developing excellent technique and an understanding of music theory and history.
I place a strong emphasis on the student learning to express themselves emotionally through music and developing a personal style informed by a solid historical foundation.
I am also available to tutor students in music theory.
