Anna Morris

Hi, I'm Anna – a dedicated and passionate music educator with a love for helping students grow through every stage of their musical journey. I have extensive experience working with students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced players.

My teaching philosophy centres on building a strong technical foundation while encouraging healthy posture and eliminating or preventing bad habits. I believe that this approach helps students progress more efficiently and achieve a high level of musical confidence and proficiency.

In addition to teaching, I’m a member of the first violin section of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Prior to that, I was a member of the Sydney Symphony and San Diego Symphony Orchestras. I received my musical training in the United States (Indiana University and the University of Michigan) and the Czech Republic (Prague Conservatorium).
