I am an enthusiastic teacher who loves playing the cello. Since moving to Newcastle in 2010 I have immersed myself in local music making performing with Christ Church Camerata, Opera Hunter, Lake Macquarie Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Pacific Palm Court Orchestra.

My teaching approach is eclectic and draws on a broad knowledge of repertoire to suit individual students. Learn just for fun or prepare for exams - come and explore the glorious colours of the cello sound.

I enjoy teaching students of all ages from beginners to advanced students. I have over 35 years experience in teaching the cello and was a Cello Examiner for the AMEB in Queensland for 10 years before relocating to NSW.

I teach cello in the Community Music Program at Newcastle Conservatorium, at Central Coast Conservatorium and at Waratah.
