Annika Schildener

I am a 26-year-old german who has lived in Australia for the past 7 years.

I have played music for as long as I can remember and have always had the dream to become a performer. I initially taught myself how to play the piano and guitar when I was about 7 years old and picked up lessons from there.

I have always been a people person and love connecting with all sorts of different personalities! This lead me to a choir program as well as a band that I ended up being part of from when I was 13 years old until I took a leap of faith and moved to Australia at the age of 19.

While I worked as an Au Pair in Western Australia, I got introduced to a small music school I instantly fell in love with! Not a lot of time passed until I started working as one of their music teachers and I ended up being part of the team for 3 years while studying Early Childhood - I eventually decided to build something of my own and started private tutoring for the piano, guitar and vocals.

I have now worked for myself for the past 5 years and have never loved a job more!

I am in my 2nd year of the Bachelor of Music at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts as a contemporary vocalist and am living my dream life! I would love to share my passion for music with you and can’t wait to be part of your journey.
