Anthony Abouhamad

Currently working as a music theory/harpsichord teacher at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Anthony is teaching tertiary level students. His fifteen years of music education experience also includes privately tutoring school- and mature-age students.

Anthony's musical interests are rooted in music/compositional analysis and observing how these inform and enhance performance as well as improving practice efficiency.

Anthony is currently completing his PhD in music theory at The University of Sydney. He is an active academic and performer. In addition to performing with his group, "The Muffat Collective", Anthony is regularly engaged as a harpsichordist with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Australian Romantic and Classical Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Antipodes.
