Anton is an AMusA qualified, passionate and engaged piano teacher who develops a personalised approach to each student, depending on their skill levels, abilities and music interests.
Currently based in Boston and finishing his studies at Berklee College of Music (in Composition and Film Scoring), Anton has experience in teaching beginner to advanced levels, different age groups and has prepared students for AMEB and VCE exams. As well as teaching classical and popular repertoire, Anton also teaches jazz, improvisation and composition. He also tutors in IB Music.
During his lessons, Anton provides students with an all-rounded music experience, not only focusing on the repertoire but also enhancing technical abilities, music theory, aural skills, rhythmic skills, improvisation and sight reading. He hopes to inspire students not just to play piano well but to develop a passion and appreciation for music and the instrument itself. Anton also teaches trumpet from beginner to intermediate levels, covering classical, jazz and contemporary styles.
Anton teaches in person when in Australia and via zoom when in Boston, US.
