Asher is a graduate of the Griffith University Queensland Conservatorium. He studied violin and viola with Michelle Walsh and Patricia Pollett. Asher has been giving violin and viola lessons for nearly 15 years. Over that time, Asher has taught people of all ages, from absolute beginners through to diploma level students. Asher has extensive experience in guiding and preparing students for examinations (AMEB and ABRSM).
Specialising in professional individual tuition, Asher aims to instil in his students a love of music and a joy of playing. While Asher takes a traditional approach to violin teaching, he adjusts his teaching style to suit each students' needs.
Asher has played violin and viola in various orchestras, chamber groups and ensembles, as well as solo performances. He has experience in performing at corporate functions, weddings, events and shows. He has conducted string orchestras and coached chamber groups.
