Greetings, Brisbane music enthusiasts! With the school term fast approaching, my saxophone tuition studio is now open to new students!

About Me:
Thoughtful, emotive and dynamic; Ashley Hutton is an Australian saxophone player and composer. Taking inspiration from titans of the genre, Ashley’s playing is influenced by the likes of Joe Henderson and John Coltrane, along with modern greats like Walter Smith III, and Melissa Aldana. He currently holds a residency at Proud Henry, where he hosts a gig and jam session twice a month. Mentored by the likes of James Sandon, Jeff Reid, Dr. Steve Newcomb and Dr. Jeff Usher, Ashley is forging a unique voice as a saxophone player.

Through his young career, he’s shared the stage and studio with award winning artists such as Tower of Power (USA), Stonebwoy (Ghana), Leisure (NZ), Nicki Bomba (Melb), Kita Alexander, Thando Sikwila (Melb), Jaron Jay (Melb), Jude York, Blake O’Connor (AUS/USA), and JUNO. Working with these artists has led him to perform at venues and festivals around the country including the Melbourne and Brisbane International Jazz Festival’s, Brisbane Festival, Wildlands, Woodford Folk Festival and CMC Rocks, among others.
