I provide French horn and theory lessons to students of all skill levels. I have an extensive knowledge base of different techniques, methods, routines and perspectives on horn playing and enjoy tailoring my teaching style to be the most effective for each individual student. I have a background in the bio-mechanics of the various parts of the human body that make the French Horn sing as it can, partnered with the careful understanding that over analysing can be detrimental for the student.
I offer preparation for AMEB and Trinity College exams.
No matter the student, lessons are always, focused, challenging, tailored, consistent, rewarding and fun.
I also teach horn maintenance and have the necessary tools and techniques to perform minor servicing to keep the students’ horn singing.
