Open to beginners and more advanced players between the ages of 5 – 18 years wishing to learn Violin, Viola, ‘Cello or for those who can already play to advanced levels seeking to play in the Australian Children’s Orchestra (Camerata group).
Students are given instruction in solo and group performance skills, music theory, aural and rhythm training and development, music interpretation and analysis (for intermediate and advanced students) in addition to concerts held at the end of each term.
Teachers are well qualified and experienced with WWCC and NCC (compliance checks) and are great with the kids.
The program also includes free awards (included in the program) gained via music exams bench-marked to international standards.
The Australian Children’s Orchestra also includes the Australian Children’s Chorus and all instrumental students sing in this group as part of their overall training (aural development).
