Aya Smith

Hello! My name is Aya.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Classical Performance from WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts). I have been concertmaster of WAAPA symphony orchestra and am currently a casual violinist with WASO (West Australian Symphony Orchestra). I started my violin journey at 3 years old following the Suzuki Method and have participated in conferences in Japan, Melbourne and Sydney.

I provide violin lessons for all ages and levels and my goal is to create a warm and supportive environment for the student to creatively explore their instrument themselves whilst seeking guidance, encouragement and new skills from myself.
I can teach by the Suzuki method, AMEB, or explore contemporary music.
