Ben Clapin

Hi! I'm Ben. My qualifications are a first class honours degree from the University of Oxford in the UK.

My teaching is informed by my extensive performing experience predominantly in jazz, classical, contemporary and electronic styles.

Topics of study for lessons include beginner, intermediate, advanced; secondary, university, and mature-age; saxophone and clarinet;

• Classical: AMEB exams, audition preparation, orchestral excerpts

• Jazz: Techniques and approaches to improvisation, repertoire, and style

I love the opportunity to ignite the same love of music in me that was established by my teachers over the years.
