Ben Clarke Music

I offer tutoring in trumpet and low brass (euphonium, baritone, tuba) around the Inner West and beyond. I currently have a small number of vacancies.
I also offer tutoring in music theory- particularly HSC Music 1 & 2

Referees from current students / parents and program directors are available on request.

I am an 18 year old multi-instrumentalist studying a Bachelor of Music at Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

I completed grade 8 with Honours on trumpet in 2020.
I was the winner of the Eastman Winds national tuba prize in 2021.
In academic music I ranked 1st in Music 2 HSC at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts,
I received a nomination for inclusion in ENCORE- the state showcase of outstanding solo works
Ultimately graduating with 97.2 ATAR

I am a member of multiple ensembles, including: The Sydney Youth Orchestra, Australian Youth Orchestra Young Symphonists, Willoughby 'A Grade' Brass Band, Sydney Conservatorium of Music ensembles, and Sydney Philharmonia Choirs.
During high school I played with the Inner West Jazz Orchestra, 7 NSW Department of Education Arts Unit Jazz, Wind and Symphony Orchestras amongst others.
I play classical, jazz, contemporary/ funk/ soul styles etc.
