Since the introduction of the Moog synthesiser in the late 60s/early 70s the instrument has been used prominently in pop music (and film) ever since.
All bass players should learn how to play piano in general, but being able to add synth bass to your arsenal of sonic options is going to be very valuable to widen your opportunities.
For an instrument that is so widely used for bass in modern music and live performances, I felt it necessary to offer lessons to share what I've learnt so far in my experience using a Moog with Meg Mac and Katy Steele.
Whether you're a bass player wanting to expand your sound palette, or an experienced pianist who is interested in learning about synthesisers, this would be a great opportunity to get some tips.
Beginners also very welcome!
I have 3 synths at my studio that can be used by the student in the lesson so no need to buy one just yet. Or if you do have one absolutely bring that!
