University lecturer offering private tuition. Currently working freelance in the audio and music industries and completing a doctoral degree by correspondence in Germany on the science of music and multimedia composition. Happy to travel, also to host in home studio.

My teaching is strongly grounded in my practical work, with the likes of the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, Western Australian Composers Orchestra, Ensemble Offspring (Sydney), Decibel Ensemble (Perth, Melbourne) among others.
Recent recipient of an HAW i2 Audio Lab composition award for surround sound and VR work. Multiple scholarship recipient, Mentored by Georg Hajdu, Manfred Stahnke in Hamburg, Germany, students of well know figures of composition like Gyogy Ligeti (2001: A Space Odyssey, the Shining, Eyes Wide Shut, Godzilla), John Cage, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Clarence Barlow, Luigi Nono, Louis Andriessen, Bella Bartok and Brian Ferneyhough among other notable 20th Century composers.
Presenter at universities throughout Europe and Australia including Aix-Marseille – France, HAW Hamburg – Germany, HfMT Hamburg, University of A Coruña – Spain, Anglia Ruskin University – Cambridge, ZKM Karlsruhe – Germany, Université Paris-Sorbonne, IRCAM – France, Royal Danish Academy of Music, WAAPA – Perth, Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Monash University – Melbourne, ANU, Queensland Conservatorium of Music.
