Brenda Shaylor

A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Brenda has been performing and teaching in a private music studio for over 40 years in Western Australia and Melbourne as well as ONLINE.

She has worked as a music examiner and presented Seminars to music teachers and students alike, as well as having conducted numerous woodwind workshops. Brenda also has much experience teaching children on the Autism Spectrum and tutoring VCE Music students Online.

Experienced in High School Music Tutoring for VCE Music, Online tutoring available weekly via ZOOM or FaceTime or other apps or platforms.

Instruments taught for fun and/or AMEB or other examinations with excellent results include: Flute , Recorder Saxophone ,Piano, Keyboard and Music Theory and Musicianship and Music Craft. Brenda also conducts classes to assist with Professional Development and Performance Preparation , as well as student teacher mentoring. Online lessons available via ZOOM or FaceTime.

Brenda believes that the love of music can be developed in anyone who wants to learn,regardless of age and ability. Therefore, she works with every student according to their requirements, personality
learning style and abilities.
