ABOUT BRENDAN.
I have nearly 20 years of experience teaching and performing guitar at a full-time capacity. My students ranged from beginners to Diploma students and anywhere in between.

In 2007 I completed my Bachelor of Applied Music from Box Hill TAFE and along with my teaching, I have been a regular Session and touring musician performing at folk festivals such as Port Fairy, Illawarra folk festival, National folk festival in Canberra, Mt Beauty, St Kilda Music festival Tamar Valley, Fleurieu Folk Festival.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS WE CAN DO IN A LESSON?
-Repertoire and the study of your favourite songs
-Posture and general technique
-Theory and Music Notation
-Preparation for ANZCA or AMEB exams
-How to improvise solos
-Song Writing
-Exploration and development of many contemporary guitar styles such as Jazz, Rock, Metal, Finger picking etc.

MY APPROACH
-Person Focused.
I believe we all meet music differently and learn our own way at our own pace. Guitar lessons should be specific to the students’ needs and goals and interest.

PRICE
30 minute and 1-hour sessions.
$35 per half hour.
