I'm moving in August, new places available!

I have been playing the violin for over 20 years now. Since starting I have learnt the piano and my now personal favourite, Viola. I have completed exams in practical violin and theory through the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) and studied music at the Griffith Conservatorium. I have also completed the Conductor in Training program through Brisbane Regional Youth Orchestra under the tutelage of Shaun Dorney and Erin Siobhan.

My music has taken place in many different ensembles and symphony orchestras around Brisbane including the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra, Redland Sinfonia, Amadeus Orchestra, Phoenix Ensemble, Queensland Musical Theatre and La Dolce Vita Music. My performance highlights would have to be in Carnegie Hall and at the 2010 world Expo in China. I have been lucky enough to travel and perform locally through regional Queensland and internationally to China, America and New Zealand.

I have taught students of all ages and have found that I enjoy teaching students from a beginner to intermediate level. While I do tend to focus on an AMEB program I also make sure that every student enjoys the craft by adding in additional activities and pieces tailored to the individual student. The learning process is always self-paced and the student can take as long, or short a time as needed to reach their goals
