I'm an experienced trombonist, composer, bandleader and Multi-instrumentalist based in Brisbane.
I’m a friendly person and an encouraging, supportive teacher who looks forward to teaching you!
I hold my Bachelor of Music at Griffith Conservatorium Majoring in Jazz Trombone with a Minor in Composition. I was fortunate enough to study under the direction of Ben marks (Trombone), Erik Griswold (Composition) and Steve Newcomb (composition).
I am fluent in all styles of trombone performance but focus a great deal on improvisational music (jazz, traditional, experimental) and contemporary performance.
Some career highlights include: premieres from Kupka’s Piano, WAYJO and The Enthusiastic Musicians Orchestra with performances alongside ELISION, Clocked Out, Lawrence English (Cruel Optimism) and The Stairwell Project.
I'm am currently co-founder of Brisbane music label Made Now Music, Brisbane original music venue Glasshouse and I perform regularly with Hip Hop brass band BULLHORN.
I teach out of my home studio in west end but the option for travel is there, please just let me know.
