Bronte O'Neill has been performing from the age of twelve in Music Theatre, Pop, Rock and most recently; Soul, Funk and Jazz. With over seven entertainment agents and various residencies; she can be seen performing regularly around Sydney venues, corporate events and weddings. She has completed seven contracts as a Guest Entertainer for P&O Cruise lines and has featured at the Sydney Opera House, Luna Park and the Royal Easter Show as well as with the Navy Big Band, the Blue Mountains Symphony Orchestra, and as a session backing vocalist for X Factor Australia and the AACTV Awards (Channel 7).
Bronte is an experienced songwriter and has spent a lot of time in the recording studio working on her craft. She has recently released several singles under her electronic duo named ‘Maari;’ gaining international radio play, Airtime on MTV, and support slots for Artists such as North East Party House, Wafia, E^st and Morgan Bain. She has also recently been introduced to the world of Soundtrack writing and Film scoring. Through 'Maari,' she is co-composing the score and title tracks for her first feature film, set to be released in 2020 through Pinnacle Films.
When Bronte begun vocal lessons at the age of thirteen, she was immediately fascinated with the technical and anatomical aspects of the voice. Through intense vocal coaching with over ten different teachers, a number of courses and her own research she has gained a great confidence for training voices of any style and age to ensure they gain access to their full vocal ability. Being a professional full-time singer and understanding the demands and challenges of all areas of performance, she is very passionate about creating a limitless voice that makes great use of range, versatility and endurance. Bronte holds a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary Performance) and a Graduate Certificate (Music) in the research of Vocal Registers and their application to the contemporary context. She also researched and experimented with the application of Vocal Technique to the recording studio. Bronte's research is always ongoing and is driven by her enthusiasm for endurance and vocal preservation.
Bronte has worked with students of all ages and skill levels and enjoys personalising her lessons to the individual needs of each student. She has vast experience in private tutoring, choir conducting, vocal masterclass leading and workshop directing.
Bronte has taught students at all stages of their career. She has worked with absolute beginners, professional touring artists, session studio singers, vocalists wishing to prepare for University auditions and HSC students (who have achieved band 5, 6 and encore nominations). She is also an Academic Lecturer at The Australian Institute of Music; working in the Contemporary department at Diploma and Bachelor level.
